Large Paintings On Paper

I met Deb my senior year of Pratt.  She expanded my world in many directions including an appreciation for literature like  Hemingway and Somerset Maugham.

When she had come around to see what I painted, and was very disappointed her shoes were not in the picture.  So I made it as though she’d lifted her leg so her shoes could be in the painting.

Here as well as Deb, a pair of pricy Susan Bennis and Warren Edwards black tassel loafers are forever immortalized.
