In the early 1980’s I was a young artist in search of my own style and interests.  For a few years I rolled over my drawing and painting from canvas onto objects.  It seemed as a painter you were often painting images of objects or painting things.  So I took it a step further to literally painted (things) objects.

In the period of painting things, I had done a series of painted Polaroid's, a self portrait painting on myself etc.  This notion had led to the portrait of Andy Warhol by painting a Campbell's soup can.
